We have reserved exclusive use of Cliveden House for Friday 1st August and Saturday 2nd August. Guests are encouraged to take full advantage of all services and activities that Cliveden has to offer!

One could spend a whole day or weekend in Windsor, but one of our favorite things to do is the proper tour of Windsor Castle. Only a short 20 minute drive from Cliveden House, Windsor has plenty to offer. Be sure to stop in The Two Brewers for a pint before a nice stroll down The Long Walk.

Situated on the river, Henley-On-Thames and Marlow are two charming English towns rich in history and natural beauty. Henley is famed for its heritage and riverside walks, with elegant Georgian architecture, cozy pubs, and scenic views. Marlow offers a picturesque high-street, lined with boutique shops and cafes. Both towns are a short drive away from Cliveden House (Henley ~ 25 minutes and Marlow ~15 minutes).

For those who might be staying in / around London for a few days, one of the more unique things to do in London (and one of our favorites) is the tour at Highgate Cemetery. We recommend booking a guided tour on the West Side of the cemetery to gain access to highlights such as the Terrace Catacombs!

One of the more classic things to do in London - we'd highly recommend visiting Westminster Abbey if you have the time!

St Paul's is an iconic feature of the London skyline! If you are brave enough and have the stamina, we would recommend climbing the 528 steps to the top of the Dome for some of the most beautiful sites of London (better than the London Eye in our opinion!).

The Churchill War Rooms Museum offers a wonderful WWII experience, where you can explore the preserved cabinet meeting rooms, map rooms, and even Churchill's private quarters. Whether you're a history buff or just looking for one of the best war museums in London, this is a must-visit attraction!
